Craftsmanship
Behind every ANJANI ART piece are hundreds of hours of handwork by master artisans.
Our techniques
Zardosi
Metallic threads, dabka and beads hand-stitched into rich, raised motifs. A royal art once reserved for Mughal courts.
Aari work
Fine chain stitches made with a hooked needle, creating flowing florals and delicate detail.
Sequin & crystal
Sequins, stones and crystals placed by hand to catch the light from every angle.
Banarasi zari
Silk woven with gold and silver zari on the loom, so the pattern is part of the fabric itself.
In the details
From sketch to bride
-
Design
Each outfit begins as a sketch in our studio, with motifs drawn and placed by hand.
-
Fabric & colour
We choose silks, velvets and nets, and dye them to the exact shade of the design.
-
Handwork
Our karigars embroider the pattern on traditional wooden frames, often over several weeks.
-
Finishing
Every piece is checked, stitched to your size if needed, and packed with care.
